Provincial Jurisdiction

Education in Canada is managed entirely at the provincial level. There is no federal department of education.

Post-Secondary Education

Canada boasts several top-tier universities, such as the University of Toronto, McGill University, and the University of British Columbia.

For domestic students (citizens and permanent residents), tuition is heavily subsidized. International student tuition is significantly higher, often 3x to 5x the domestic rate.
